Great meeting at Uncle George’s. Staff there was very helpful and courteous.
Good turnout and we even had a couple of younger prospective new members.
Patti Worzalla of the Women’s Auxiliary of Children’s Hospital came and spoke about their ‘Portable Hugs’ program that provides homemade quilts to abused children at the hospital.
Our club was able to donate enough for two ‘Portable Hugs’ with our budgeted ‘Speaker Donation.’
We hope you can make it to the club’s Christmas Party and Dinner, Wed. December 14th @ Drifters Bar & Grill. Social Hour 5:30 with Dinner @ 6:30.
